Blamformers! Blamformers!

Regrettably...

Regrettably out of all the artists that took part, very little of this could be considered good. Mindchambers clearly stood out above all the rest. Apart from one or two others, the rest where either sorely lacking in the inspiration department, or simply could not be bothered.

Disturbing...

Very disturbing. But then that is the point isn't it.

The music gelled very well with this animation, and the whole shaky line effect of the graphics also worked very well to give off a feeling of everything not being quite right. A very good animation that although short was extremely powerful.

Graphics....

Sweet, sweet graphics in the backgrounds. They must have taken some time to make. Foreground graphics where great as well, not quite as detailed but obvious as to why. Possibly potential for a series perhaps??

How do you end the game?

So I've mined every last bit of dirt in the game, there is nothing left for me to mine yet the game doesn't end? Shame really but even so this is an awesome game!!

Have Faith Have Faith

Less a game, more an exercise in judgement

This struck me as less of a game and more of an exercise in a persons judgement. There are many times in life when we are forced to make a decision, trust someone's judgement or strike out on your own. It could be as simple as trusting a persons directions to somewhere or choosing to find it on your own, or accepting that the paint is indeed wet or touching it to see for yourself.

For those fustrated by the maze, you can beat it by simply going left at every junction, only going right when the left path is blocked.

zombie attack (fortunacu) zombie attack (fortunacu)

Simple yes, addicting no...

This game has very little going for it beyond the first 60 seconds or so of gameplay. It has nothing to hold the players interest. It has no upgrades apart from a levelling up system that did very little as far as I could see. Furthermore the enemy difficulty ramps up far too quickly making an early death unavoidable as the power of the zombies versus the strength of your weapons and the recharge time of your lasers are extremely disjointed. Adequately presented, this is just dragged down by flawed and limited gameplay.
